Site Manager for road and infrastructure works

Ypres

Permanent

Full-time

Job description

As a site manager, you will take full responsibility for 3 to 4 sites simultaneously. Once a project is secured, the site is fully handed over to you. You manage the site from preparation to completion and ensure everything runs smoothly. You monitor the planning, quality, and safety, and communicate clearly with all parties involved. In short, you maintain the overview in every area.

Profile

Your responsibilities

  • Preparing, organizing, and following up on site setup and daily planning.
  • Ordering the right materials and parts on time so that work on the site does not come to a standstill.
  • Coordinating, motivating, and managing a team of approximately 10 workers.
  • Getting stuck in and helping out yourself where necessary.
  • Accurately maintaining daily reports and the final post-calculation. A project is only truly profitable if the figures are correct.
  • Reporting directly to the project manager regarding specific questions or challenges.

Your profile

  • You have a higher degree in construction or (civil) engineering, or are equivalent through experience.
  • You are administratively strong and comfortable with digital tools.
  • You work independently and in a structured manner, with an eye for detail and safety.
  • You dare to act decisively when necessary, but also listen to the ideas of the people on-site.
  • You hold a category B driver’s license.
  • A few years of experience is a plus, but motivated starters are also more than welcome.
  • A job with plenty of variety in a stable and stimulating work environment.
  • A full-time permanent contract with a competitive salary and fringe benefits, including a company car, meal vouchers, group insurance, and hospitalization insurance.
  • The atmosphere of a family business: we are growing and consciously investing in our team. Expect short lines of communication, sincere appreciation, and a social staff drink every last Friday of the month.
