Degro Earthworks was founded in 1991 by Lode Desot. Not long after, his brothers Lieven and Leslie also joined the company. What began as a family business grew into an established SME with modern premises in Rozendaalstraat, Ypres. In 2011, the subsidiary Degrocon was founded to meet the increasing demand for container rental.
Today, Degro has more than 45 employees and a modern fleet of machinery for projects in South West Flanders and the Coastal Region. Since the takeover at the end of 2024, the company has been led by founder Lode and his sons Floris and Gilles. Degro continues to invest in innovation and training for the efficient and high-quality execution of every project.
