Soil stabilization is the improvement of the bearing capacity and water resistance of soils by adding binders such as lime, cement, or other additives. This prevents subsidence and significantly extends the lifespan of the construction.

Phases of
soil stabilization

To improve the bearing capacity of the soil, the stabilization process is carried out step by step. Below, we explain the main phases:

  • Spreading the binder – Lime and/or cement are applied evenly with a tracked spreader for optimal mixing.
  • Milling the binder – A mixing tiller mixes the binder to the desired depth, tailored to the soil conditions.
  • Compacting the subsoil – A vibratory roller ensures a firm and stable base, ready for further finishing.
